Little Sisterby rachelmeadComment: This is the smallest ocean I have ever seen. Your sister is about to fold it up and put it in her pocket. I've never seen an image like this before.

Sagrada Familiaby simplesilentComment: by using shadows only, the contrast *is* your subject. In a sense, you've fulfilled the challenge more perfectly than a literal interpretation. Or is the light the subject? It seems like a cinema projection on the wall. (Or is the window the subject, merely being imitated by the rest?) And this strange subject ambiguity (polyphony?) is only enhanced by the composition, with its profound sense of gravity (in more ways than one).

wintersongby MAKComment: This is so odd yet so beautiful. I have no sense of scale, no idea how far the berries are from the pillars, or how big the pillars are... is it architecture or decoration? Is that worn stone or freshly shaped clay? It is, as you say, a song, or at least a verse, a few muttered phrases by a voice haunted and beautiful.

Running Freeby view360Comment: this reminds me of the notorious experiment that began cinema. not only are all 8 legs off the ground, some are missing altogether. pure sublime fantasy. thank you. |

On Deckby Bernard_MarxComment: wow, I love the tilted disorientation of this photo. where is the horizontal and where is the vertical? so hard to discern. it gives the picture a lot of energy. the filter of weather(?) and plexiglass just adds to the sense of distance and disorientation. I love it. |

The Names Blonde . . . James Blonde . . by GiloComment: slick and a little funny, since the model doesn't quite fit the bond stereotype. I can't imagine what the lights are, though. If you put them on the same horizontal, then I can pretend they are car headlights and I can imagine a bit of a story. |
