Disconnectedby kteachComment: Interesting subject. Good composition and metal shine. The stark black and white in your frame makes the image look a little washed out though. |

Broken Heartby swallaceComment: Wow, are they shellacked? I like the shine and good focus on the text, but possibly a more contrasting backdrop or avoiding monochromatic colorizing would improve this. |

Beyond Repairby KaizerComment: Wish to see the whole gun, perhaps barrel could be against lighter background to improve contrast. Great idea, love the slugs and the etched plating. |

• Dysfunctional •by Bear_MusicComment: Ooh, I have one like that too. Good idea! Good composition. I like your concentric circles and scratched silver bowls, chromey monochromatics. Very pleasing as is, but I bet this will be fun for you to enhance further once free of the basic editing rules. |

Long Forgottenby HighwayFlowerComment: Oh boy, I so almost submitted a broken gravestone. I like yours better. Nice catch and good composition and degree of contrast and sat. |

Hillside Sunriseby GeneralEComment: I applaud your inclination to go natural. I wish photos didn't have to be radioactive to get a decent score on this site. The yellow in your alts seems like a little too much (to me), however, the submitted photo does appear to need some oomph. Not enough going on. If a different composition or a better defined/esthetically-pleasing tree were not available, I'd probably do as you did and mess with the sky color/texture, although not quite as extremely. Better luck next time ;-) |
