Day 7: Kitty Dreams of the Outsideby freakin_hilariousComment: He looks like he's about to poot ;-) Having seen Kitty in other shots, I especially like how vulnerable he looks here (he usually looks pretty unmovable). It's so cool that you got the screen in focus. Excellent, evo cative shot. |

The Light Within - M02by alfrescoComment: It looks like a necklace of glittering red jewels. Surreal. Dunno what you were aiming for but the picture works for me. I'd be tempted, however, to crop out the bluish bubble reflection at the top, even though it defines the bubble, because the resulting abstract is downright spooky-cool. Btw, I seem to remember reading that mixing some karo corn syrup with bubble solution will make bubbles last longer. |

Prowlby xianartComment: Cool, did you do this by hand/selection with a motion blur - or in camera? Very nice effect. |

macro_day2.jpgby hyperfocalComment: Yow that's some set up. Novel idea too. You did a good job with the yellow - tough color to make sharp. |

Silentby Elvis_LComment: Eep, the stamen/pistil whoosiwhatsis are like so many mute people, ineffectually gathered around something we can't see. I imagine it's some religious or pagan ritual, sacrificing an animal maybe. Hey, what are you taking pictures of such crazy stuff for? ;-) |

Day-2by magenmarieComment: Nice abstract. Part of me really loves the gold and part of me wants to know what it looks like with the yellow saturation taken down a peg. I'm a big fan of earth tones though, and the rusts here are lovely. |

Veinsby shutterflyComment: Cool. But I get this urge to dive into the part that is sharp. The idea of cropping just above the stem's insertion would give this an elegant geometry (half a pie ;-). Definitely like the b/w. |
