Wow, Freakin.. I expected this to place in the top 20 or so. I loved the array of neutrals - you somehow got them to look vibrant! And the pose and the style and the painterly clarity - straight out of Today's Ornithographer. Beautiful job... 10 from me.

Nice entry, Jayson! I didn't get back to comment on this in time, but it got an 8 from me. I kinda favor the grey snow because it makes this look like it's on an xmas card or in a picture book. I guess if you really really wanted to, you might have done some real soft dodging on the snow to bring out the contrasts within. Or possibly channel mixer might have teased something out. But really, the grey gives it a nice mood. I like the composition too! But you really ought not to keep your wife in a barn ;-)
