A bold entry! You could even zoom in and get more macro on this and it would retain interest. With a shot of this type, if you wanted to soften the lighting without losing contrast elsewhere (with basic editing), you can try using an warm photo filter and uncheck 'preserve luminosity'. It's funny that being this literal with a literal crowd still results in an oobie! Good for you :)

I like this. I'm kinda cursing those anachronistic resin chairs though. I love what you did with the crop/perspective especially with how the 'roof' appears - and the placement of the elvis poster is perfect. The colors are pretty good as is, but if I were experimenting, I might try fooling around with hues, saturation and contrasts to make them even more 'vintage' looking. Anyway, this was a great choice of subject for the challenge and deserved a better score.
