I suppose this is HDR but I'd love to hear more about your processing after the challenge. The child has such a baby doll's face - and your treatment makes it a beautiful, timeless painting. Amazing.

How very still he appears. He is not concentrating, but he is definitely thinking about something. He looks like the type of person who will carefully consider what you ask before he answers. There is a bit of stress around the mouth that is surprising for someone so young. Because the pose and his expression are so mature-seeming, I get flashes of what he'll look like as a man, and then, as an old man... the photo sets off a little time lapse photography flick in my head. Interesting and spooky.
