Dueling it out in the 800 metersby bmartuchComment: Wow. This is excellent. The dof is perfect. I think your choice of tones keeps this from being too busy, and I like how it treats the light that's coming at them from the side. Big congrats! |

Not a Baby's Buttby EfergohComment: A sure winner for the 'fart on you' challenge. Personally, I think a butt picture is a fine idea for silky smooth. However, all I wish to perceive is 'cheeks' - this gives me more insight than desired. No vote. |

Painting in Silkby LaMasComment: Really nice idea! Red might be a little too sat perhaps... at least on my monitor... and I might have put the brush on top of the silk and dipped it in blue paint. |

ICONICby Car54Comment: I think you already did ;-) Congrats on a great score. Dang, I have to remember to use duotones next time. Btw, I think the darkness works really well. |

ICONICby Car54Comment: Ahem. You know, I bought this bridge fair and square from the fella who owns it so I don't know what you're doing taking pictures of it. |

Trescott Street Pierby bmartuchComment: I remember this shot from voting. Dang, it would have been perfect for vanishing point, or symmetry as Jayson mentions. Great perspective - I think you hit it just right. I like it as is, but I also wonder about fooling with the color or smoothness. I'm not sure how, but maybe some kind of inversion... just for kicks. Also, I am wondering about cropping the sides a little to make it more like tunnel vision. But that might make it too generic/simplistic...? Great shot and great location, and a very decent score for a big, gawdy free study :) |
