lensless photography on dpcby krnodilComment: cant argue with that. this would also have been appropriate for bw abstract. i hope that thing in the chair is stuffed! nice light btw, and nice comp. back to say, this has great mood. it's like what you might see upon waking up, if you share your bedroom with a sock monkey. |

Got Hay??by seeComment: On Golden Pony. The Gilded Gelding! Striking warm tones. Usually yellow makes things look gummy (in my hands anyway!)- but you've got a very sharp picture here nonetheless. Great, especially considering it's at 2.8 - and that depth of field makes for a nice immediate drop off to blur behind the horse. Enjoyed. |

Horsepower by Porscheby basssman7Comment: Nice panning! Love the motion blur on the trees and the two other cars. I do like this as is, but since I'm a processing junkie, I might also try a black layer or a vignette layer (blended with overlay, linear dodge, something funky) - just to make it look meaner and subdue the sunlight. Anyway, sorry your pic got dinged by the dingbats ;-) |

We Have Stood the Test of Time by BrianRComment: I like the crop alot. Enjoy the texture too - that and the vivid peach and touches of cyan make this more of a stylized interpretation than a clinical assessment - which is plenty fine by me! This picture would look grand hanging in a green room. Favorite part of all is those eyelashes! |

400 Black and White Horsesby TruegshtComment: When they announced the challenge, I'd hoped for a few horsepower shots :) I really like the textures here - it's an interesting twist on the usual gleamy chromey stuff. I like your title too - reminds me of my grandfather. He'd say, "Ya wanna hear a dirty joke? Yeah? 40 white horses ran through the mud!" Well, he'd only gotten it half right but he'd laugh like hell anyway ;-) Congrats on getting the Tan! (very close to brown) Badge of honor in these parts. |

Le Cheval Noirby RitaDComment: The horse is fantastic - the motion - the mane - it's only a pity that the rider doesn't look more engaged. Your bw tones are excellent. |
