You picked just the right shade of um, chartreuse? and it makes the image look 'finished'. The subtle texture here is a really nifty achievement and definitely adds interest. Lost in a Momentby colorcarnivalComment: Fantastic light. This photo offers a lot - I look at it and I'm a little kid on a train, the sun warming my face through the window. But I'm also the grown-up in the seat nearby, watching and wondering what out there has him so rapt. Really beautiful, and the crop sets his face off nicely. |

It's easy to selectively desaturate in basic - especially if your original has colors that cooperate! It's because you did such a good job on the PP that people didn't believe it.
