cool shot. we are my taking aunt out for brunch next saturday someplace in madison she lives near St Mary's Hospital. heading up there a couple of hours early so while my wife and aunt have a visit I can sneak away with my camera for an hour or two and get some shots around state street the capital etc... was thinking the farmers market could provide some interesting subjects. hope it is a nice blue morning.

thanks, If you are interested in trying this, Here are a few tips.

find a very smooth driving surface

lots of stop and go lights. this photo was taken at a 6 lane intersection.

I was traveling around 30MPH for this photo, speed definately makes different effects.

A Tripod is definately required. I have a custom floor mounted pod in my van. But you can just as easy use a regular tri pod perhaps secure it with seat belts or bungie cords.. just make sure it doesnt rock or tip.
6-10 seconds of exposure seems to be the best from the results i have.

i would also recommend letting someone else drive. I spent 2 hours driving around to get this shot, had to stop every few frames to make sure the lighting was correct camrea in focus etc.....

If this is like many of the weddings i have video taped you may have gotten a better action shot when the women are rolling around on the ground fighting over it. . nice capture none the less...
