This single flameby strangeghostComment: Good capture of the flame but nothing else to help the composition. The technicals are there and it's not bad. The problem is, with it being contrived. I do like it, in its simplicity. But the score remains at my base 5

Fire Fighterby prenticeComment: Powerful image and yes it implies fire. However I see no fire and that in lies the problem. A silhouette is much easier to capture than fire. I feel that is what the challenge is about. Having said that I will vote this at my base if there was fire in it because the content relates to fire. 5

Fiery Cocktailby dfstevensonComment: Had something here I can see it! I like the idea. I don't like the garbage bag. I think the lighting is a tad harsh and the background seem to printed. But the peppers are a nice compositional element. Tad OOF and could be sharper. Meets the Challenge I give a generous 6

Nice desat, maybe a contrast adjustment and over all curves to darken the image might have helped bring out the flame a bit. But good shot. 6
