Nice shot, one thing that could be added would be some contrast, it seems flat to me. Also I think that aiming the camera to the right a little more, so that the flower points into the frame rather than out of could add a lot, still a very nice shot.

Nice shot, seems quite sharp. Lighting is very nice as well, which adds a whole lot to the shot. It could benefit from a little bit of a tighter crop. Things that appeal to the voters are shots that have a "wow" factor. while this is a very solid shot with all the basics right on, it lacks the pop to force voters to give it the higher marks. Messing with the cropping could add a lot as well. Really though it is a very nice shot and you nailed a lot of the technical aspects, keep up the good work. I look forward to watching your portfolio.
