I like the use of shadow and compositon in this shot but the lighting seesm a bit off. I feel that a white balance correction could have eliminated the yellow tint of the light and the picture seems a bit dark. I think a higher key shot might make this pop a bit more. There also seems to be excessive noise in the shadows and this could be from trying to fix the lighting in PS.

This is a really cool abstract, i love this shot. The lighitng is dead on and a very nice DOF. I'm not sure what it is but I imagine it to be a group of iron particles that clump together when a magnet is use around them. Nice job and good luck.

I really like the idea of this shot. Very clever with the use of black and white on the chess board and with the players. i do feel the lighting seems to be a bit harsh, though this could have been an impromtu shot and you might not have been able to set up a better lighting situation.

I like this alot. I actually think that the tip of the nose in focus and the way it is processed lends to the illusion that he has his nose pressed against a piece of glass. Lovely tone and well done!
