Spring Heatby modurnComment: I got here from the thread you posted. I like the composition too, and the DOF is very nice and did a great job at separating the flower from the background. May I just also say that I'd personally prefer it more if it's a tiny bit less exposed? Good photo. |

Tractorby Ecce_SignumComment: I like the way you processed the photo, and the black and white really makes it good - dramatic. |

Shadow Diningby graphicfunkComment: this is good, Dan! Some of the commentors felt that the photo is humorous, which I think is true, but my personal take is, it felt a little sad, because it is like the diner is hoping he could have a better meal instead of the bread and canned sardine on his table. Good and creative take (as usual!) |

A Matter of Scale: the Forest Primevalby Bear_MusicComment: Like Zardoz said below, it would have been really cool if there was something beyond the greens and inside that hole. My eyes too, were drawn there but found nothing. Love the sharpening - couldn't have done it better. |

Clear the Runwayby BeeCeeComment: i like these sort of frozen shots, it's usually dramatic and hard to catch, making them more precious than others. you've captured the heron at a good angle, but too bad not enough details to look at, I'm sure it's not your fault - probably due to high ISO used to be fast enough. I'm wondering if you could crop just around the flying bird, it would be so cool. |
