stripedby sevilduvarciComment: Well, the shot definitely matches your title but I am desperate to see this ladies face! For me possibly a different angle and inclusion of the persons face would have made this shot better. I do like your editing and the choice of B&W really helps bring out the stripes! :o) |

A Perfect Matchby jjusaComment: I like your lighting here and the way you hav that lovely blue glowin the background but I think the main thing that I am struggling with is I can't see any connection between the silver figures and the blue orbs...this may possibly be a reason for this shot not scoring higher. Granted the subjects fit the challenge title as they match perfectly and the image is nicely lit but I think the link of 'meaning' between the items lets this image down...just MHO! :o) |

17by mia67Comment: Such a sweet composition and I love the little curls just creeping out of the frame. I would like to have seen the focus on the eyes in this shot, as it is it's a little too soft but I think your editing has helped to keep this an interesting shot even without the focus! A great model you have here! :o) |

Day 3by mia67Comment: I love your editing here, really suits this little ones sad expression!!I can't work out if the focus is a little 'off' on the eyes or not but I dont think it detracts at all! The softness of the face gives this a really sweet look and the composition is excellent, I love the way he (or she?) appears to be popping up out of the lower left of the frame, very nice :o) |

No Entryby TezComment: Love the B&W here, really suits the image. I think the composition is quite powerful and I'm pleased to see you have all of the chain in focus, DOF is excellent here. The only slight distraction is the blown out parts of the padlock but I expect it wasn't very easy to expose this shot and get such good colour and detail on the chain and wood. I can also see some editing marks, looks like you have cloned something out, towards the lower left of the frame? Maybe need to work on making this a little less obvious but other than that a well seen and edited shot :o) |

Lily on acidby MelethiaComment: LOL LOVE the title Deb! :o) I like the light on the petals here and the composition is good but for me the editing doesn't 'do it'. Maybe I am more of a 'traditional' person when it comes to editing...probably cos I am SO bad at it myself...to me the image looks too soft and the editing hasn't helped that..IMHO! ;o) |

Cook Inlet communityby ShutterPugComment: This is stunning, I just want to keep looking as the more I do the more things jump out at me, the curve of the earth, the little village, the beautiful movement of the river...stunning! And it looks like you were pretty high up for this shot?! |
