One step to the left and a slightly more head on composition and this would have been perfect for me. I love the colorus but would have cropped the edge of the curb out as it is a little distracting :o)

This looks too much like a painting to me and not a photograph. I like your composition and the cloud formation is nice. I think it would have fitted in the Where in the world is stdavidson challenge but fear it may have received low marks as, for me, there is too much processing.

Very nice composition but the overall image is just not sharp enough for me. I would like to see the focus more on the horses eye. You have managed to get some nice light and colour on the horses hair and your DOF is good :o)

I like the editing here, black and white really suits the image as there doesn't seem to be much natural light on the field and by converting it you have drawn attention away from this. Nice composition too well done :o)

Wish I could see this a little larger as it looks so sweet :o) I like your editing, black and white really suits the subject and she has a lovely excited yet intense look on her face. Great capture :o)

What a cute little kitten!! :o) I like your DOF and the position of the kittens head in the frame is really good. To me, the focus looks to be on the forehead and I always find the eyes themselves are a good place to focus. Looks like you have a great model, I look forward to seeing more shots featuring this little kitty :o)

You have some lovely light here in this shot. I like your composition, placing the flower and butterfly just off center has worked nicely. I think the soft focus works well on the greens in the foreground and background but I want to see the flower and butterfly really sharp and in focus. Was the soft focus just an experiment or was there a particular reason for using it?

Composition:

I like your choice of background colour but feel the seed should be more off to the left with less room at the bottom. A bit like this but with more room on the right I think....

Technicals:

Good use of DOF to select just the section of the image with the seed in to be in focus but (unless its my eyes) the seed itself looks out of focus? The lighting on the seed is good and I feel you have managed the whites in the well.

Just my opinion :o)

I like the placement of the frog in the frame and your use of DOF really helps draw the viewer to the main subject. I might be inclined to crop a little closer on the right handside to get rid of the edge of the step (?) at the top right. What processing, if any, have you done on this shot?

Great colours! Again I would have to say this would look better with a slightly more of the lamp in focus, as it is with just the first few parts in focus the viewer isn't led into the shot my eye kind of stops once the pictures gets out of focus...just my opinion :o)
