Rythmicby ShannonLeeComment: Great Self Portrait! ;o) For me this would look better left as two image as they both have a lot of interest. The processing is nice, good DOF and nice detail :o) |

Nest of Pearlsby jfwolpertComment: wow some of your commenters have looked really closely! I sure didn't see you reflected in the pearls! I have to agree that getting rid of the marks on the egg (by moving its position?) may have helped your score a bit here. The background looks a little pixalised to me mainly on the top right handside and I am not a huge fan of the central position of the objects. I think you have met what I believed the challenge to mean and you have gathered exactly 2 objects so for me that gave you a few extra marks! Yanko's B&W idea sounds interesting, I wonder whether this would have more impact if you tried that? |

Sunset Loveby ShaneBlakeComment: Beautiful colours! I would have cropped the branch out from the middle right hand edge of the frame but other than that I really like it and looks like you got the processing done pretty good :o) |

Beale Streetby ShaneBlakeComment: One step to the left and a slightly more head on composition and this would have been perfect for me. I love the colorus but would have cropped the edge of the curb out as it is a little distracting :o) |

Photographer's Ghostby ShaneBlakeComment: This looks too much like a painting to me and not a photograph. I like your composition and the cloud formation is nice. I think it would have fitted in the Where in the world is stdavidson challenge but fear it may have received low marks as, for me, there is too much processing. |

Equine Eyeby piaffe529Comment: Very nice composition but the overall image is just not sharp enough for me. I would like to see the focus more on the horses eye. You have managed to get some nice light and colour on the horses hair and your DOF is good :o) |

barnbw.jpgby piaffe529Comment: I like the editing here, black and white really suits the image as there doesn't seem to be much natural light on the field and by converting it you have drawn attention away from this. Nice composition too well done :o) |

New Discoveryby piaffe529Comment: Wish I could see this a little larger as it looks so sweet :o) I like your editing, black and white really suits the subject and she has a lovely excited yet intense look on her face. Great capture :o) |

Growing Upby piaffe529Comment: What a cute little kitten!! :o) I like your DOF and the position of the kittens head in the frame is really good. To me, the focus looks to be on the forehead and I always find the eyes themselves are a good place to focus. Looks like you have a great model, I look forward to seeing more shots featuring this little kitty :o) |

Butterfly.jpgby Trumpeteer4Comment: You have some lovely light here in this shot. I like your composition, placing the flower and butterfly just off center has worked nicely. I think the soft focus works well on the greens in the foreground and background but I want to see the flower and butterfly really sharp and in focus. Was the soft focus just an experiment or was there a particular reason for using it? |
