I also like the composition and the flower is so sweet.
I am not that fussed with the inside border, as it makes me want to visually look at the border, rather than the image inside the border. I also like the soft DOF background.

I love the old shoe, awesome textures and detail, and yes, this is a great idea for a still life image. I would prefer this image with just the shoe with the plants inside, and the background for more effect and more visually pleasing.

What a great idea and a real challenge for you.
I am so looking forward to each and everyday with what you present to us.
This one has an 'oriental' feeling to it, and apart from being and looking like a flowering tree, the background and processing, really does add to the effect of this image, with the 'sense & feeling of the orient'.
Keep them coming. A feeling of 'Zen'.

I just LOVE your flowers, and this is an awesome start from you.....
It has a old country romantic feeling, about this one.
