This is a beautiful shot, the composition is a bit to centered but overall its really nice. Next time try a more shallow DOF to make more of the focus on the butterfly and less on the leaves.

sorry this took so long.

I like this idea, the Tonality of the photo is great. I like the lighting on the hands, as you said it is too bad that the braclet wasnt covered.

The only thing I might have tried different would have been maybe a different positioning of the hands. Other than that the feel is very symetrical and nice. A great photo with a great story behind it.

Hi,

Sorry this took so long to get to. I think the overall feel to the photo and the subject is good, the coloration and tonality is good. The angle of the barn gives depth to the photo and the positioning in the frame is a bit to centered IMO.

I think this suffered mostly in the challenge because of the overall busyness of the photo. I find voters on dpc are looking for a clear subject.

The photo is overall a bit to dark, I really cannot tell to great exactly what I am looking at. I believe, though I am having a hard time with it that the area that is able to be seen is a bit oversharpened.

I like the composition and Think the idea of low key was there, but maybe this is a bit too low key as there was alot of lost detail due to the overall underexposed feel to the photo.
