I really like this shot and the title is fitting. The fog is a nice touch, and although I'd usually want to see a flag in the wind, the limp defalted nature of it adds to the idea nicely.

Unbelievable! lol. I can hardly believe what I am looking at, even more so when I can't seem to see the ropes tying that stuff down. Nice capture!I I'm not usually a fan of selective desat, perhaps would have worked better for me if the rest was simply muted instead of completely desaturated. Could have gone with a tighter crop to get rid of that banner at the top.

Took me a second! LOL. Fits the challenge but the image seems pretty flat to me. I know it's difficult to make the jets pop on such a solid background with no shadows but perhaps have them slightly more saturated than the sky and up the contrast? Could have played with the hues too as the jets are slightly washed out from being very similar in color to the sky.

I don't see an anachronism at all. More of a cultural difference than a time diference, and even that is not displayed, it is shoehorned with the title. The editing seems odd, such as her skin tones and the smudges (like on her cheek).
