Thanks for the vote Graham. It was my first challenge so I'm happy with the result. I'm not sure that the soft focus and the unrecognisable elements really went down too well. It seemed to suit the subject though so I still really enjoy the image.
A great thing about this site for me is that I would probably never have made those images otherwise, so that's valuable, even if I cruised into 199th place or something to that affect... lol.

Aloneby bernmayComment: I would definitely have placed this much higher than 58th. A great image. Nicely done. It has a painterly quality that reminds me of charlie waite. Message edited by author 2005-11-16 06:57:55. |

Water Wingsby stare_at_the_sunComment: this pic is on your website :)
I'm not normally a fan of water shots to be honest but I really enjoyed this. It's a wicked triptych. Nicely done. |

Cable Stay in Blueby lkn4truthComment: I'm curious to see how your submission goes down with the other voters, but I really like the gritty graphical quality of this. Very cool image. 10. |

Come To My Windowby BalkoComment: This is a stunning image. The colours work beautifully, and the overall impression is an ethereal simplicty that I find very appealing. Very nicely done. 10. |
