It it hadn't been for the extra light on the top of the tulip it would be considered an orange tulip. Personally don't like how the plant disappears in the center of the photo then re-appears at the bottom left corner. No continunity to the photo, no flow. And a big was of a lot of space. Think I know the effect you were looking for but didn't quite get it, but then maybe you got exactly what you wanted and it just doesn't appeal to me personally.

With this DOF you should not have had a shadow and dark spot on the yellow M&M. There's so little of it as there is. Like the composition. Very different. To me with the effect of putting one in the mouth the entire photo should have been in focus and make that the one that is yellow. To me personally that makes the most sense. But then, that's just my thought. Still nice idea. Just needs better execution.

Nice idea, the sponge. But it's fighting the background for the yellow spot. Need to change the color of the background. The sponge is in good focus, nicely cropped, well done. Next time don't make it fight for the attention.

First of all - cut the red head clear out of this shot. He takes all the attention from the yellow ballon. But really I would have preferred to see it in another challenge and him the subject. Would have laughed myself sick at that one. Back to this challenge. There need to be focus somewhere in the photo. It has too much going on in it. I would have cropped out everything but the ballon. Really would have taken it somewhere else with less background. Can't get over the dude in the red-hair. Really think you meant this to be a funny photo and it is. Thanks for the laughs.

Another one that with the leaves looks alive, but the texture says is wilting some. Wish I knew which. Looks like the bugs got to the leaves also. Would have picked a differend flower or cropped that out. Also would have cropped out the empty black on the other side. Would have been much better with just the bloom stnding alone. As it is there appears to be part of the plant missing, but probably just hidden by a shadow. There is a lot of potential for this with a little better execution.

Beautiful ring. But what is the white one it. Looks like powdered sugar and like there's more on the table under it. The more I look at it the less I'm sure it's a ring, but maybe a broach, because of the bottom. What ever it is is a beautiful piece of jewelry. But the white is very distracting as is the shadow.

At first wanted to say needs more focus, then thought no, now think yes. It needs better focus in the center, then if you want the outsides a little off, ok. Maybe just sharpening it would accomplish the desired effect. Beautiful flower.

Nice shades of yellow. Like the mixture of flowers, and their differences. Nice touch. This is just a thought, but if you look at it you should have pulled the one on the right out from under the center one making a circle of flowers surrounding the large different one, making the photo more symetrical. Also that way one of its' leaves wouldn't be into the center of the one above it. Just a thought. Nice as it is though. Good focus and lighting.

Nice close up/macro for texture. Is that the natural texture or is the flow wilting just a little? Kinda wish the depth of focus was just a little deeper so I could see the texture of the limb also, but it's ok as is. Just a personal thing with this particular photo. Nice yellow and a really nice photo. Well done.
