I can't tell if these hands belong to the head or belong to someone standing behind him. Nice B&W. Good focus, nice and soft. Very good composition with good execution. The facial expression is almost non-expressive - very good for this shot. I'd give it a 9 any day. PTL

'Fourda Oranges'

Too tightly cropped for me. Makes it appear cramped. In my opinion either spread it out and zoom out some; or just have 4 oranges and the 4 ball. The focus is good and the light is good. I would also have it all in focus so the 4 ball would be an emphasis to the 4 oranges, to emphasize the brand of your title. Still a decent shot. PTL 6

Maybe this is nitpicking, but is there a reason for 3 to be alike and 1 to be different? That leads me to think it's a different challenge. Either all four should be different, or all should be alike. When you look at a photo you look to see what is there. Here immediately you say, 3 alike and 1 different. When you should say 4 hats. The focus is fine. The cropping is good. The composition is nice. Just can't deal with 3 and 1. Sorry. PTL 6

Maybe it's just my eyes, but the egg cup on the left appears to be leaning. I like the way you placed the eggs in the tray and the tray in the photo. Good composition like this. This is paying attention to detail, for those that don't understand. Am I leaning or is that egg cup? Good soft focus. Nice background. Black works well here. Nice cropping. Fairly good photo. Worth a 7. PTL

background too busy as well as the reflections on the lens are not clear and are therefore, just busyness. The glasses do not stand out so you can see them clearly. They're just kind of in there amoung the other stuff. PTL 4

There are some places on the top left corner of the wall that are distracting. Would hve looked better if candles had been lit. Too dark. The shine of the candle sticks doesn't come thru because of the darkness. Candles should have been same length, so they would slant at same line with the candle sticks. Maybe this sounds like nitpicking, but it is the kind of attention you need to give to details. This makes a big difference in a regular photo and an outstanding photo. PTL 4

Again I say....all 4 should have been in focus because the challenge is "4". By having 1 in focus it appears "1" is the challenge. Too dark and not enough differentiation in the end of the table and background. If they are to be different they should be different. Sorry but 3 is all I can give. PTL

Artificial Rainbow

Nice trick. Who would have thought of a way to make this different. (Of course you do know there are more than 4 colors in the rainbow). Just a little dark and I guess you couldn't get rid of the shadows. Don't think the border helped you any here, but didn't hurt either. Not bad. 7 PTL
