Basketballby John PahlComment: To me the colors are off, and the shutter speed is too slow to meet your needs. If you shoot that low your going to end up with alot of blurred bodies. Typical settings for me in a basketball game are f2.2 to 2.8 depending on the gym I'm in. 1/320-1/400 shutter speed. I'll shoot in manual mode so the camera doesnt make decisions for me. If your not using flash then set a custom white balance using a piece of white paper in the lighting your going to be shooting in. If your going to be using flash then depending on wether you use it as your source or fill will depend on your WB setting. Gyms and sports indoors are tough to shoot. Good luck. BTW the boy on the left what your seeing there is motion blur not focus issue.

Barrenby darnokComment: This is impressive work especially considering your using a P&S, and very creative use of colors for the background. Such nice detail and nice side lighting. |

Slow Down.jpgby angela_packardComment: ROFL thats funny. I can see the amount of accidents that would happen in the city if someone wrote that and people turning heads when they realized what it actually said. Great capture. |

Body Shapesby angela_packardComment: I voted this a 7 during the challenge but didnt leave a comment. This is a great image that should have scored higher, I imagine the voters killed you cause its a pose that speaks to only the male voters. However I found it nicely done, nicely lit, and the tight crop helps the image. I think I might have added a double border though. |

Jumpby BAMartinComment: I love the sense of motion the bull gives in the shot. The man appears to be frozen in time yet the bull has motion blur as to tell us the man might be in for trouble. Nicely done. |
