Greetings from the critique club. First let me tell you that I havent done a CC in a while, so when I logged in and got this, first thing I did was spit soda on the screen, so then I had to clean my screen. You are brave to put something like this in DPC as normally DPC doesnt have a sense of humor. You proved that they do. Based on advanced editing and you chose an expert editing challenge you were really under the gun to try and get the look. You were very creative with the paper and the sketching I'd like to have seen the sketching and the body line up a little better, but thats pretty tough to do. I also see a few places where over sharpening seem to be an issue. Overall given the challenge I think you did well.

Not a bad photo. Remember a couple of things when setting up for shooting, first where is the sun if at all possible dont shoot towards it, sometimes its unavoidable other times you can. Next I try and position myself for where the lens I have selected can get fill the frame shots to reduce the cropping that I do. I always get better shots that way and they will print much bigger, but remember the closer you are to the subject the more demanding that is on your focus system being dead on. Keep shooting!

I'm not a landscape guy, but I dont see anything in this photo that draws my attention. I cant find a single point of interest to keep me looking at it. Your Horizon is also just off a touch. PP needs a bit more contrast as well. Overall this doesnt do much for me.

I think a lower perspective to remove the distracting foreground would help. I actually like the tone and feel of this, I wish it had just a touch more contrast to it though. I think your SS is just about right.

Ok you want me to tear it? Actually I'll just point to what I do like and dont like.

First the highlights seem way to bright. The composition is too centered. I dont like the sepia conversion, I do like the border and think that with a different crop and color maybe strong black and white conversion you have something here. The bokeh just doesnt do it for me with all the hot spots that take away from the main subject. My eyes keep bouncing to the background away from the subject.

Greetings from the critique club. Let me say OOOOHHH I like this shot. Great framing, great timing for the shot, I love the background and near silohette of the subjects. Vanishing point takes me to water and I love the processing that you have done. Great sharpness and detail in the photo. Overall you scored a bit lower then I thought it would have, but you did finish in the top 35 of a tough challenge.
