uh-oh... you've clipped your shadows on this one. A smidge too heavy on the levels maybe? A good trick to bring out drama in clouds without too much disruption to the rest of the image, would be too mask the sky using a levels or curves adjustment layer.

Unless of course, this result was exactly your intent? :)

Well, it's an interesting closeup study of a... something green... ;^) I like the shallow dof and I think you've got the light under control. You've definitely got a clear separation of highlight and shadow, which, with a pattern like this, I'd imagine would be critical.

It really is good photography, however the subject matter isn't all that exciting...
