Unfortunately I didn't get the time to come back to this and comment before end of voting. However, I did score this an 8. It's beautiful. I can easily see the amount of time and effort you've put into it and IMHO, has paid off for you. What I find hard to understand are the dnmcs.

In light of the comments, I'd have to say that those folk probably didn't spend a heck of a lot of time looking at this image. A quick glance most likely gave an impression of party decorations, and so, they were unable to reconcile the arrangement with actual stationery...? Who knows. I'm just thinking out loud here anyway :)

Both yours and Tim's work are truly inspiring. Congratulations on your tremendous finish in the challenge! Best wishes to you both.

Ah, you toned down the red... nice work :) Love this scene. If it's any consolation, I gave you an 8 for the challenge shot. Still believe it's an excellent use of the fisheye.

You're my hero and a true inspiration. These images are hysterical. All so well planned and executed. I tried something similar using my son's hero figurines (on a different photo site), though my series is no where near the standard of your work here.

This is my favourite, but I have a feeling I may have another of yours from a recent challenge... :)

I struggle to find a reason for the sepia here, particularly as it has dulled the tonal range somewhat. Compositionally, it's fine. However the sky seems to let the scene down a bit. My quick fix for something like that would be to add a gradient fill layer (top down, overlay mode, reduced opacity) and then mask the bottom 2/3rds (foreground to transparent). Just a thought :) Best wishes for the challenge.

Hmmmm... not sure you had any feathering around your selection. Did you try to selectively darken the background or did you drop another one in? And what on earth did you do to the whites of their eyes! LOL! I'm going to assume that this is all intentional for the sake of humour :D:D

What beautiful light and colour... Great subject, details and composition, although, you probably could have afforded to crop more of the negative space from the top. Though this is overall a very elegant piece of work. Well done - 8 :)
