Finger-tip Solutionby GPComment: I would bet that you took a lot of images to get your lighting right so as to not be too hot on the garlic. You did very well for using a single light source. The gradient in the background is pleasing to the image. 7 -danny |

Road Signs Never Lieby wwjdwithcaComment: The white specs are ice? Hard to feel the image justifies the title with just that little amount of ice. The background of the image appears to be warm and humid. Interesting tones on the sign however. 5 -danny |

Revolution , NOW !by fanfuineComment: OK, I like the overall feel of this shot. The youthful arm holding the gun makes me think of 3rd world countries in which children take up arms against their enemies. That being said, I think there is some slight motion blur on the gun, and the red tone seems to overpowering to the message. Perhaps a true black and white conversion would provide the added grit to send the message home. 7 -danny |

Our Children's Heroes?by jpb323redComment: Interesting concept. The image seems oversaturated, and is too small. When saving for the web, save the image at 72 dpi and 640 pixel on the longest side. This will give your viewer a larger image so that they can make out the details in your shot. 4 -danny |

The Science and Patriotizm around itby maxprkrComment: I'm not sure I get the propaganda angle of this shot. Overall, this image doesn't have much interest. It's a photo of a light bulb. The image should be rotated to correct the light looking like it's twisted to the right. 5 -danny |

Anti skinhead movement.by kaushComment: This shot is fuzzy and under exposed. What's the strings purpose in this shot? Perhaps boosting your contrast would improve this some. 5 -danny |

Message in the Bottle>>>STOP Cruel Science!by fisheyeComment: You did well with a difficult lighting situation. Only offering I have is to try and shoot the light through something to diffuse/spread the light out more. This will minimize the hot spot on the glass. Also, having some light on the table doesn't hurt, it keeps the bottle from looking like it is floating. 6 -danny |

knifesby tolovemoonComment: I can see that you are attempting to better your studio shot skills. Few things. When using a single light you get hard shadows. Try a fill light on the right, or a white reflective surface to fill in the hard shadow. If your camera has a manual white balance setting, you need to learn how to use it, or set the white balance for incandesent lighting. You're yellow tone is a result of improper white balance. Your image is also rather small for viewing on the web. Save at 72 dpi with the longest side being 640 pixels. This will give the viewer a better chance to make out the details on the handles. Lastly, your presentation is not too exciting. Try picking just 3 of the most interesting knifes and organize them in a different way so as to bring out the most from each of them. Also, get in closer to your subjects, providing your camera allows for a closer in focus. 4 -danny |
