Senaby dartompkinsComment: I'm sure this model is very expressive and just beams in person. This shot however doesn't show that. The blur and overall flat lighting don't flatter her. A shot playing to the camera may have the impact needed to show her radiance to the audience. |

Magic Bus - Oh but to dream . . .by lytaComment: Appears he was about to speak, the capture leans on the side of candid. Exposure is good, may concider dodging the eyes a little to bring out their sparkle more. |

From this day forward...by utroComment: My first reaction was to score this low due to the technical flaws in it, but as I sat here eating my Good & Plenty candys, the story came out and I realized that despite the technical difficulties presented here, the story makes up for it. |

Centre of Attentionby naomikComment: Photoshop to make more out of a quick snapshot usually doesn't work. I know that you probably didn't plan this shot, and pose them, or you would have removed the walker, the purses and had them more posed. The sepia treament as well as the blur do little to add to the shot. |

Carl in Thoughtby mikasiComment: Prolly a tough choice you had to make on keeping this color or going black and white. I think either treatement would work nicely. Apart from some minor sharpening needing done, this is a fine capture. |

Is the Water Coldby biggood53Comment: Stop, point, click...
Is there more to this that I am missing? Was this shot for the challenge or for your vacation photo album? As a challenge entry it is lacking in composition, lighting, and exposure. I'm sure you will look fondly back on the day at the beach, but for a challenge site, this image is missing elements that will make it stronger in the eyes of the voters. |

Up... Up... and Away!by cpurserComment: Good exposure on a candid capture. Not sure if it's motion blur or just DOF falling off, but the camera right side of his face seems soft or blurred. I think overall this will look nice in your family album. |

Girlsby datcatComment: A nice moment between mom and daughter. The colors and white balance are done nicely. Unfortunately there is no crop you could have done to remove the straw and keep the overall feel of the shot. |

I wonder what she's thinking?!?by dwterryComment: Expressive, maybe a little too much sharpening done to try and recover from soft focus on the eyes, or motion blur from her moving her head. I like the natural expression. |
