Circular Squareby ergatesComment: Great DOF and flow through the image. I like the green color breaking up the neutral tones. |

City Mooringsby QikiComment: This is a tough type of shot to expose properly. You want to preserve the details in the buildings without overexposing the lights. The boats in front are just too distracting. |

Essenceby elsapoComment: Beuatiful skin tones and details in the face. The eyes are beautiful, but the reflections are a little busy. Her mascera is a little clumpy too. Beautiful lighting on the face, especially on the cheeks. |

Mixing Deskby reeveyComment: Just a little more DOF to put those front buttons into focus. Love the angle and colors. I think I might have run a damp cloth over the surface, just to clean up some of that grit. |

Untitled, 2006by pawdrixComment: Nice dark portrait. Looks rough like the subject. THe B&W really brings out the details in the beard and wrinkles in the face. |

Spring has SPRUNG!!by dugparkComment: I do love the colors here. The textures are nice, and the background is even. The background is busy enough (not in a bad way), so I think I would have moved the two branches in the foreground. I think moving closer and around one of the blooms (so the other bloom is off-center behind the other) might make the composition a little stronge. As is, there isn't a lot of dimension to the composition. |

SoCon Semifinalsby trnqltyComment: The positioning of your subjects within the frame is perfectly balanced. The focus is a little soft atoud the ball and fooy & habd of the player on the right of the frame. I know they are moving fast. I love the concentration you captured in the faces. Here you're focus is dead on, and this is where it counts I think. Good job!! |
