I didn't vote on this challenge, but this is a great idea. (I guess a lot of other people had it also? I didn't have ANY ideas!) I always have a hard time takaing food shots, but you have gotten good DOF and exposure.

I don't often comment anymore, but I will give my opinion on this. I think having the leaf off-center would add interest, perhaps use a leaf with a more interesting shape. Using shadow to cut down on the glare of light helps, but leaves this looking flat. Also, I try to make sure that the shadow covers the entire image so as not to get the distracting light like in the upper right corner.
