Interesting shot, but just not for this challenge. |

This does not hold my interest. I like the lighting, but find the light on his had distracting, and I would like it more with sharper focus. |

I think the lighting could be better on the person. He is lost in the shadows. |

Photos closer to the 640 size limit tend to score higher. I would like this more with sharper focus and something (color, texture) to hold my interest. |

I am not sure what the subject of this photo is. The shadows are interesting, but I find myself distracted by the buildings and musicians. If the musicians are the subject, then I think you should get closer so we can see what they are doing. |

devils appleby EmyloyComment: DNMC--A still life to me is about the set up and lighting, and both are lacking in this shot, IMO.
The fruit does not stand out from the rest of the shot, and I think a different time of day would have helped with the lighting. |

In the Bushby yourbuddyjhawkComment: I assume you placed a toy in the grass, but it just doesn't seem like a still life shot to me.
I find the white blades of grass in the center of the shot distracting. |

Interesting find. I think cropping off the top of the rocks would help. The lighting seems a little harsh to me. |
