I think this might be more interesting had you removed the photo and sign. I would like to see this cropped with only the fans standing up showing so the shapes would become more important. Also, for this challenge I think purple should be the prominent color. I see the purple fan first, but it is a little overblown and my eyes then move to the red fans.

This looks more pink than purple, and there is nothing that really catches my interest. The bee is too small and in a strange position. Having the bee in the center could work but I think the bright pinks and greens make the rest of the frame too busy.

I think some post processing would have helped this shot (levels, curves, shadow/highlights, brightness)--something to make it look less like it is in the shadows. I also do not feel it really meets the challenge because there is more blue and as much pink and orange as there is purple.
