Bonesby odriewComment: A dry summer's day
A slight breeze
Warm thoughts drift
and sway with the
delicate flowers held
by outstretched bone branches.
Very lovely in mood, tones, texture and feel. |

Fossilby JutildaComment: This is so COOL! Very arsty; definately something I can see hanging on a wall in a gallery or a coffee shop somewhere. Love the stone texture for it gives off the feel of this being a colorful fossil. Love how the blue shading on the stone brings to mind water and bubbles - a lovely stone sea for this goldfish. The bold orange/yellow colors contrast beautifully off of the tones of the browns/creams and turquoise blues. |

a chorus lineby nixterComment: Life in motion and the overlay gives it a feeling of time long past that is immobilized in stone. I also like the widescreen presentation for it gives an additional layer of this feeling like a scene in a movie. |

Little Childby gsalComment: Love these little life captures of 'moments in time' in this 'photobook' feel of your pictures of the travels in Africa. The mother watches protectively from the door as the little one sits just outside enjoying the outside time and playing with his/her toys (which is interesting in that there is the old from the environment and the new which is manufactured - wonder which the child likes to play with more:-) ). |

in need of hope tonightby tomeComment: Love the sepia tones and the bold contrasts between the light and shadow here. Texture overlay is great for I can get a feel for the rough and weathered bark of the trees in the composition. |

How to say goodbye...by odriewComment: Very nice processing for it has a look and feel of a memory imprint of the day the viewer said goodbye to a loved one as they leave for their journey. The colors and tones springs to my mind a warm, late afternoon as the loved turns toward the sun as it begins it's downward path to set behind the hill. The composition has a bittersweet feel/mood to it. |

Salemby cginoComment: Very nicely done! A lot of layers but they all work together to create this collage of salem and the witch trials. The paper texture gives the feeling of age; a visual clue of a time that has passed into history. The fire recalls the flames of witch burnings that happened to these woman who were convicted by mob mentality. I love what you did with the word overlays that speak of things or historical figures during that time from Elizabeth Howe who was one of the accused in the Salem witch trials to Sam Sewall, a judge during those times, to the statement 'I am no witch' to the dates of death of other 'convicted' witches. I love how you overlayed 'Not Guilty" over the figure of the woman - for truly they were not guilty of the 'accusations' that were cast at them; a social commentary exposing the truth much like Hester Prynne wearing the scarlett letter but this time it speaks the truth no one wanted to see at that time. I also love what you did for the bottom of the figures dress - it has the same general shape of a tombstone and thus you overlayed the obituary of Giles Corey who also was one who died during the onslaught of the Salem Witch Trials. Wonderful work of piecing all these elements together. |

6912by pixelpigComment: 'The path of trees' is what I think when I look upon the composition. My eye follows the line of the three trees at the diagonal and then looks beyond. I like the processing and overlay for the sepia and texture border brings out the detail & shapes of the forest and gives an feeling of a moment in time that now resides in the past. |

Day-5by salmiakkiComment: Lovely rural landscape with the red barn; the photo itself is very lovely to look upon. The addition of the overlay is lovely too for now it has a vintage feel of an old postcard that captures a piece of Americana that is slipping away. |

iCosmo_girlby daisydavidComment: Love those bright and bold colors. Very interesting twist on street photography for the processing and overlay have now created a impressionistic painting look. But because of the bold colors and the capture of everyday life, I still am left with my first impression when I saw the thumbnail that this is akin to a Frida Kahlo painting. |
