Good job on the panning to show the sense of motion; it looks like they were really flying. I tend to like the high contrast, but wonder if the harsh light is making it too contrasty. Hopefully that makes sense.

These birds can be such an annoyance and yet they are so resourceful. I was at an amusement park years ago and stopped for a beer and some food. As people came out with pizza in hand, the gulls dive-bombed and went away with whatever they could snatch. Or you can go buy a couple loaves of bread at the "day old" store and provide the kids with a lot of entertainment for a buck. You did a nice job capturing what these birds are all about.

Greens/dark/light - what a great combination you have here. Something like this would probably do well in a challenge "without a subject". I can see this being made into a pattern for a shower curtain or wallpaper (for walls, not pc).
