Your first attempt at RAW turned out well, I think once you get used to it you won't go back. You've captured a lot of detail in his fur and great tones. One great thing about raw conversion is the ability to edit at 16 bits, which makes quite the difference if you make a lot of edits. Just another thought on the composition/angle, it appears you go down a bit on his level, and when I shoot these things I will try at many angles and see what works, although you may have done that.

It's that hats that make this shot - her with the dark one and he with his white "hat". I like the lines and the dreaminess from your edit.

The Window

Excellent clarity on the eyes and the noise works well. At first I thought it might be stronger without all the space on the left, but I'm starting to like it the more I look at it. It gives her some space to peer into.
