This is kind of strange, and yet intriguing. I feel like I'm falling into a tunnel right towards the chicken.

Good use of the lensbaby to give this a dreamy effect. I can see why it reminds you of childhood, because when we're children we take the time to lay there and look up at the sky. Now as adults we don't seem to have the time for this, unless taking pictures of course.

The day may have been bleak but it sure makes that building stand out. I think you're onto something with the leading line; that could probably be a fine subject on it's own.

Lots of stuff to explore in this photo and it draws me right into it. It's certainly what SOL is all about. It looks like you had to crank the ISO and the noise is quite apparent on top, perhaps darkening the roof would hide it a bit.

Side note: As I was typing about the noise I thought to myself, "She must have had to really turn up the ISO because the 40D does a good job on noise." Am I the only one who knows what kind of camera people have without looking??
