Indian Summerby scampComment: Another good floral. I think this would be better without the out of focus purple flowers between in focus purple and the yellow flowers. The in focus purple flower would pop so much more directly against the yellow background. Hmm...I wrote all that, but I still like it the way it is now. |

RobertatHelens1DPC.jpgby saracatComment: The background isn't bad as you suggest, I think a shallower depth of field to blur the background would help a little more. Also the lighting between the subject and background are fairly similar causing them to blend together a little. I'm sure some of the portrait DPC'ers could be more insightful. All in all pretty good first efforts at portraits. |
