Awaiting His Returnby SherwinJamesComment: Excellent idea and execution. Great use of highlights to really give this photo life. You were definitely one of the few to use them and they make a big difference. Very nice! |

A Little Frenchby carpentsComment: A bit of a rendition of another challenge entry, but looks great with the Eiffel statuette. The bokeh theme really gels with the City of Lights motto. |

Silhouetted Dreamsby swimmergirl4242Comment: A very nice slhouette photo, great pose for this type of photo. A slight bit of repostioning could of eliminated that powerpole. There's also some strange pixelization going on, especially around the hat. |

Hopeful DPCers gather together to look for Steve on the beach at dusk...by Bear_MusicComment: Originally posted by yanko: Yeah pastels are flowing out of this. Very nice although I'm wondering why you left that strip of grass in the shot at the very bottom. |
I think that strip of grass anchors the photo very nicely.
Very beautiful photograph, Robert. I also had this as a top pick. I'm surprised this didn't score at least in the very high sixes. |

Bhay on the Runby sherpetComment: I like the tight frame on some really fast action happening in this photo. The stretched out running position is a bit reminiscent of the poses they use to do on old American football collector cards.
Just noticed that neither of his feet is on the ground, you couldn't of clicked the shutter any better than you did here. He he, nobody can accuse you of faking this photo! :D |

Beach Rocksby KarenNfldComment: An interesting group of rocks with the colors and textures. Tonally it seems a little on the flat side. |
