watch the ballby margiemuComment: Very nice complete package...technicals are all good, composition is very good, the intensity of the player makes the photo interesting and the lightly blurred spectators set the scene well. Great job! |

Challenge to the gravityby WindtaleComment: Excellent use of scale for setting the scene and telling this story. A little bit contrasty, but still a very good photo. Nicely done! |

.....SET!......by WadeComment: The light is a bit on the contrasty side...but I really like this as a b&w and the composition is interesting. Nicely done! |

#2 Woodby vontomComment: Effective shallow DOF...you've really isolated your subjects but still have them the proper identifiable setting. Maybe...less sky, for less competition with the subjects. |

Sunset Cyclingby dizusComment: Very beautiful sky and the silhouettes are very interesting. Seems to be an unbalanced amount of dark space at the bottom tough. |

Flyingby TiberiusComment: Very nice stop action of the horses...it's pretty cool how almost every single one is in the air. Well done! |

Julius Rop, last years Rhine-Marathon winner, disappointedby h2Comment: Obviously he's not in the lead according to your title, but it does leave you pondering some things. Where in the race is this? Is it near the end with no time left to catch up and pass? Is he not as close as he appears(has a telephoto lens compressed the scene)?
The b&w conversion is very good. Good use of DOF with just the right placement of focus. Well done! |

Some Men Can Flyby hotpastaComment: Nice stop action photo. That one guy has some pretty serious vertical leap. The photo works great in b&w...very nicely done! |

off and runningby cybermayberryComment: The motion blur is quite interesting, it's good how you kept the unblurred portion to the horses head. Great color tones as well...nicely done! |
