Here are a few additional comments on this challenge entry. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

First: As the comment i left to you during voting, gave you a 7, mostly for thinking out of the normal "chrome". Seems as if the voters placed you right at '5'.

Technically, this is a nicely composed picture with good sharpness and clarity. your post-challenge notes indicate you put some thought into the DOF. I for one did not catch the intentional emphasis "64", and "koda". I wonder if placing the emphasis on "chrome" might have upped the score????

The main downfall of this pic IMHO, is the subject. Many voters may not have a clue about Kodachrome 64(i'm only casually aware of it myself:)) It is not a picture that will connect effectively with most voters.

The good news is that if you continue to think creatively, pair that with your technical skills, you will be rewarded both in fun and scores.

Lighting is nice. Red could be toned down just a bit and camera angle or lens selection seems to make his chin/hand out of proportion in relation to his head. POssibly intentional but i think it gives the portrait a strange feel.
