I wish the focus was on the second boy, since he is the one who appears to be instigating some mischief. But, i like it this way too and think you did a nice job of capturing the moment. I like a little lightness on the RH side to balance out the darker tones on the LH.

This is one of my favorites from your student pics. They are all engaging but this one stuck out. I like that you shot this from their eye level, giving a BG made up of the brightly colored shirts from the other students. Nice job.

great coloring and composition on this one. You mentioned USM and maybe it does seem a little soft. Still, the detail is amazing and i really like the arching leaf. Green could use a touch more saturation IMO.

For pics I post on the web I usually use about 90-110% with a .3-.6 radius setting. FWIW.

Nailed this one. It shows a fly in its all its fascinating splendor. Who would have know they could be more than a nuisance? Nice shot and i really like the dark colors(natural coloring, i think). Like it a lot.

IMO, this is one of your best. The vertical lines/shapes of the icicles are contrasted with the dark shapes of the trees in the BG. I love it! Great sharpness as well.

This is nice, just a little more color saturation and maybe even a slight crop off of the LH side would have strengthened the photo. I love the diagonal lines created by the ribs of the boat and its bow.

I'll be honest, this was not one of my favorite pictures from this challenge. Ive tried to figure it out b/c i really like sea and waterscapes so these feelings are a departure from the norm for me.

With a second examination of your pic, i guess my lack of attraction to this scene is the dominating foreground with its wild texture and color. This is not a very soothing photo like many seascapes. But then, it does fit your title well. I did give it a 6 during voting so i didn't totally slam it, it's just that normally a photo like this would garner a 7 or higher from me.

Just my .02 and honestly the picture is growing on me a little as i sit and ponder.
