Nice work. Turn that macro lens into a landscape lens:) Fantastic colors and I really like the vertical post RH side to keep the viewers eye inside the frame. All the lines of the clouds force the eyes to the right until BAM! they stop at the pole and head left.

Nice photo. The lighting is nice and soft and the detail in the shadows is very good. I might suggest you crop some off the top(you would lose some of the dino but might pick up additional impact by bringing more attention to the young man. Cheers!

This is scary. I guess its just a picture of where we all end up...without our teeth!

You mentioned the harsh lighting...other than that, it works. Might have cropped a bit of the bottom. I love the addition of the dental mirror.

Lemon Splash

I'm not an expert on splash shots/heck, i'm not even an amateur ;) but a couple of things strike me.

One--See if you can light more from the side...possibly by bouncing your flash of of a white posterboard. I may be wrong but it looks like the flash is straight on. More side lighting will give a pleasing dimension to your shadows. Also looks as if it could have been bumped in exposure a bit.

I do like the series of bubbles radiating around the top of the lime. With just a touch more focus the picture would really pop! I think these shots are harder than they first appear. mark
