A very contrasty scene and one in which you have portrayed the movement of the water in a nice way. I do feel it could be improved by some increased detail in the shadow areas. The picture feels pretty soft in spots, not sure if that is a product of cropping or your processing. Your composition is good.

I like the starkness of the photo, however, the bright sky(50% of the frame) overwhelms the lines of the trees. Not exactly sure how you could improve short of shooting at a different time of day. I see a little wierd blue color around the branches of the foreground tree so maybe the sky had some color in the original... Just my .02...trying to leave comments on the images near the bottom of my voting.

I'd swear this is somewhere in Oregon. The foreground rocks really balance the scene and provide interest. Not sure about the pixel border....
