If this is your first photo, great job! I am glad your were able to share this, it is an amazing area that I haven't seen before. This is a great entry. The lighting is lovely, the highlights are just a little too strong. I love the composition, as well as the overall feel the photo gives the viewer. The colors are very nice and soothing, I am glad you did not do a black and white, I like the warm colors. I think it was a very strong image for the perspective challenge, and it probably would have just placed higher based on the highlight. I defiantly want to congratulate you on your first entry, that is always the hardest one. I look forward to seeing more entries!

What a shot. The reflections you were able to capture are amazing. I can defiantly see why you scored so well, this is an excellent perspective. I do like the approach you took with the angle of building. I could see the photo being taken straight up, but by angling your photo you separated yourself. I also thinking the lighting from the time of day was prefect to capture this shot. You used a great focus, the clarity appears to be prefect. It is amazing how seamless the photo feels, even though there is a building there. Great overall job on all aspect of this photo.

Very nice spin on the perspective challenge. The photo itself is extremely nice. I like the angle and the lighting that were used. The sun on the eye lashes is just amazing. Also the light you captured on the nose accenting the freckles is great. The composition is lovely and I love how you filled your field. I think this is great photo, usually I think it would be more commonplace for a shot of an adult as opposed to a child and I wonder if that was what was effecting your score. I also like the coloring for the background the greens and reds are a nice contrast for the face. The only thing I could see enhancing is the focus or sharpness on more of the face, like the lips. I think you did an excellent job on this very personal perspective.

Great perspective, this is an excellent entry into the perspective challenge. The yellow really brings the flowers to life. I like the overall shot. The focus, lighting and composition are great. It would be really neat if you could make the sky a bluer color. I think a bluer sky may have bumped you up higher in the challenge, but you did an excleent job on this shot. I am attempting to take this was quite a challenge in itself. I also really love what you did with the background, the other flowers are blurred out just perfectly. Good job!

Very interesting idea. The surroundings are amazing. I am not sure if its the bike that makes it seem a bit off, but the photo feels like something is just not quite there. I think you could have made a very dramatic statement from a slightly different angle or closer or maybe shot more from one side then the other. I think your lighting and contrast are nice. I also like how the leaves have fallen on the ground. This really is a very different area for this shot.

Wow what a drastic angle, you nailed the perspective idea. The lines are absolutely amazing the way they just pop off of the image. I also love the coloring you have used. The sky looks great in contrast to the dramatic building. I too like some of the other commentators would have liked to see the tip of building as well. I can see you wanted to consume the photo with the building which is great, but I still think the tip would complete the photo. The composition and lighting are lovely. Good job capturing such a dramatic angle.

I remember seeing this entry in the challenge and thinking it was a very different idea. I know one of your commentaries had stated the photo might have been a bit better if we were loser to the balls, I would have to agree. The bigger they look the scarier they would appear. I can see that maybe your were trying to get the lovely backdrop in the shot, but I would be curious to see the shot but closer on the balls and possibly just the sand in the background. Of course this type of shot maybe not have been taken so well from the voters, but I think it would make the balls seems much more threatening. Good concept and photo.

Shadow walk, great title. I love the shadowing that you were able to capture, the lighting is excellent. I would be interested to see the photo cropped down a little to allow the focus to be completely on the bridge. The background takes away from the focus on the shadows cast from the bridge. It would very interesting to see this photo cropped down into a square just including the bridge. I also really like the you are shooting from the right side as opposed to the center. It would also be interesting to see the shot from a lower angle, to give more perspective on the bridge itself. Good find for the challenge and great timing to capture those shadows.
