"Shere Kahn" is a wonderful choice of a classic villain for the Literary Adventure challenge. Congrats on the top twenty percent, that is very awesome.

The close up is pretty amazing, I love the whiskers the focus is so clear. The stare is so prefect so like he is posing for this one. The composition is excellent. There is not much here that I could say because this is an amazing image. I am so glad you were able to leave the ears in the shot, you always see these amazing shots where some one has been forced to crop something out.

"Sing me a song of a lad that is gone..." is a nice addition to Literary Adventure challenge. I personally had not seen this poem before, but I figured from the title it was of a young child. Not too bad of a placement, the upper 50% is always good.

I think you made an excellent choice with the black and white for this piece. I think using the tree to frame out the shot was a nice idea. On my screen the black looks a tad to dark. The glow on the horse is nice and I also like the include of the boat it gives more to the subject. This a very nice emotional piece, it grabs your attention with the deep contrast in the black and white. I like the white border it makes the image complete.

This was a really good piece, I look forward to your future entries.

"On a bed of daffodil sky" - Lord Alfred Tennyson is a great addition to the Literary Adventure challenge. I think Lord Alfred Tennyson would be pretty happy with your representation of his piece. Pretty descent finish in the top 30%.

The first thing I noticed is the composition is very lovely. I really like how the trees are uneven and the central tree is the tallest. It is a little odd how the one trees base is so thin in contrast to the rest of the trees, but draws attention to the piece. The daffodils look so rich, it is amazing how many there are. I think the richness of the flowers is a great contrast with the sky and the tress are nice lines to bring the image together.
