I like this umbrella shot better, maybe the position because it is more playful and the purple isn't quite as consuming. Is the pole really not straight?

"2 Seconds Call' is a great addition into the 2 second challenge. Originally ideas are always great to see. This one looks like out of the box idea, which usually is a big hit with the voters.

The image is very interesting and I think you had an excellent idea. I love that you were able to cut off each end and not have a drag from the light to the outside edges of the frame, that would have ruined the shot for me. I am surprised that it your shot didn't score higher, maybe because we just recently had the Painting with light challenge. The cropping of the shot feels just right, and I am glad you were able to produce a solid black backdrop with the piece. Personally I think you did a good job and I hope to see future entries from you!
