coffee (before)by tateComment: If I were given this photo and asked to guess the topic it would probably take me several tries to guess beverage. I wonder how this would look with the bean in the lower right cropped out even more? For me, this would keep my focus on your main subject, and lessen the distraction. |

Instant Sugar Fixby maryannComment: I like the vibrancy of the bottles and liquid. The dust in the lower right is a bit distracting, but otherwise a "cool" shot (yeah, I know...bad pun) |

Only in Kentuckyby woodseyComment: The composition works okay for me. I wish there was a bit more to your background...say some ice or something to add more interest overall. This is the second "Kentucky beverage" shot I've seen. That stuff must taste pretty good. :-) |

Proposalby BalkoComment: I like the composition. Nice still life. With a bit less yellow all around (the leaves look a little...sickly) I would have voted this higher. Good job. |

Smooth Manhattanby avalanche06Comment: Uhmmm, guessing this is a postcard or someting and you placed the beverage in front of it? The lighting from the background seems to be coming from one angle while the lighting on your glass appears to come from a different angle. |

a toastby irish_eyesComment: Bummer about that head in the lower left as it really takes away from the sweetness of the toast (your main subject). Good concept though. Next time, just politely ask him to duck :-) |

What a rainbow.by TicklePokeComment: Hmmm...I know you can easily clean brushes, but cleaning crayons? :-) Interesting entry. I would have liked to seen a bit more crispness overall and maybe a little more room on the left so that the glass itself wasn't getting cut off. |

Proper beerby bulletheadComment: Good composition for me. I wish the glass wasn't cut off at the bottom, but I like the lighting and colors. Having the cap and opener adds interest as the photo would be boring without them. Well done and good luck in the challenge. |

Meltdownby sartobrComment: Hmmm....this seems to be a popular drink of choice around DPC :-) Nice advertisement for them. I like the colors of the bottles against the ice. Maybe a little busy, but not too bad. |

Ahhhby drz01Comment: What a sweet photo. For me, I wonder if this would look even better in black and white than sepia? It's her eyes I find most captivating. |
