On Week 18by ergoComment: I like your concept. For me though, I wish the focus was more on the model than the plant, and perhaps a different background as it makes her skin look a bit...sallow. |

Newlywedsby philupComment: I like the concept and composition. There's something about the skin tones though. Maybe a bit too red? Sorry, I'm not very good at technical critiques. |

Sweet Freedomby idnicComment: Funny animal photo. The white is a bit too stark for my tastes, but I like your composition - and that must be one patient dog to be put through that. :-) |

Because it's Fridayby fstopopenComment: For me, I would get more of a celebration sense if there were someone else next to her. My interpretation is that she is drinking alone, not celebrating - like I said, just my first impression. I do like the lighting and composition though. |

Acceptanceby YorinaComment: I like the little girl's expression. Had the baby also been turned so I could see the face, and maybe a bit less on the white highlights, I would have scored it better. I like your use of black and white though. |

HOORAY !by bbrightComment: Nice air time...trampouline? The object in the lower left detracts a bit for me, but a fun shot. It looks vaguely familar too, like I've seen something similar somewhere here on DPC, just not sure where. |

Celebrating Freedomby loriprophotoComment: A nice entry and interpretation of celebration. The foreground looks a bit out of focus and blurry on my screen. I also wonder what this would have looked like if there was some hint of a blue sky in the background. Somehow showing more landscape to give an even greater sense of celebrating freedom? |

Victoryby holyfamComment: She does seem as if she is celebrating. For me, I wish there was a bit more of her (not having her hand cut off) or something in the background to tell me what she is celebrating...did she win a race? I find the blue gum in her mouth a bit...distracting, but I like her rosy cheeks and smile. |

This is a shot I took at disney of my daughter and her grandparents!by moonjeongComment: This is a nice family photo, but compared to other celebration entries in the challenge, it doesn't hold my attention as well. I think perhaps because the three foreground people all have their backs to the viewer. had you taken this from the other side where I could see their expressions, I probably would have scored it higher. |

October feastby BrianRComment: For me, the main focus of this photo is the large banner, which unfortunately is blocked partially by the white cylindrical object in the foreground - which is distracting to me. I wonder how this would have been if you were closer to some of the people feasting? Also, be sure to try and utilize the maximum or as close to the alotted 640 pixels as stated in the challenge rules. Larger photos can sometimes have a better impact on voters :) |
