Harlequin of Dreamsby ArtanComment: This is very similar to another photo I just viewed in this challenge. Yours has a bit more appeal because of the added coloring though. While it's a nice motion blur photo, since there isn't any real focal point, my eyes just kind of wander aimlessly and therefore I have given it a lower score compared to others in this challenge. |

External human beef patch slide.by gharveyComment: Kind of a funny photo, but there are many distracting elements in the background for me. The case of Bud Light, the white chairs, the back end of the car, etc. It does show a sense of creativity and humor, but I have given it a low score compared to other entries in this challenge. |

Horse Tail Waterfallby basketballstarComment: While it's a nice enough waterfall shot, for me, it doesn't quite fit into the "What" challenge. I wonder how a different time of day with brigher lighting would look to give the overall photo more saturation and color. The rock face looks a bit flat IMO. |

You mean it's a real orchid?by dockieComment: For me, I don't mind seeing some post-editing manipulation, but this seems overly processed. The magenta is blown way out there, but then again, that could be the effect you were going for. I do wonder what the original was like before manipulation. |

smellervisionby melodeeComment: Although a funny photo, I find the light too overpowering on either side of the dog's head. Had there been a bit more focus around the eyes and a bit better lighting behind, I would have scored this better. Cute idea though - does show fun creativity. |

Q: WHAT? A: DOMINATIONby Eagle40Fox2Comment: I'm guessing this has some personal meaning to you, but for me it's just a bunch of names and numbers. Your title of "A: Domination" doesn't help clarify, but further confuses me, and compared with other entries in the challenge doesn't appeal to me. Therefore I have given it a low score. Sorry. |

100% Natural - Shes Going To Be A Star!by all4uComment: Hello and greetings from the Critque Club.
I think you had a good concept for the challenge. With a few tweaks and adjustments (and a brighter day), I think this shot would improve.
overall, I would have liked to seen it a bit more in focus. The composition isn't bad, but I agree with other voters during the challenge that having a bit more room under her boots, and not having them sit on the border would be more effective.
While the girl herself appears to be celebration, the majority of your photo is a bit on the dark side. Had this been a brighter, sunnier day, I think the message would be even stronger.
Like I said, you had a good idea - it shows me you have creativity. Keep up the nice work and try different times of the day to see how natural lighting affects your main subject.
I look forward to seeing you enter future challenges. Thank you. |

It's Officialby cbellerComment: Greetings from the critique club.
I'm happy this photo came up for me to discuss, as it was one of my favorites in the challenge.
A very nice, and different point of view from the usual wedding photos. Terrific DOF, and the use of sepia gives it a nice, warm feeling for me. You successfully captured a celebration moment that is easily recognizable by any viewer.
Congratulations on your finish and I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future - you're quite talented. |

The Beauty of Natureby AlexSaberiComment: Hello from the critique club. While many chose something bright or fun to celebrate in this challenge, I like how you chose to celebrate something a bit simpler - nature and it's beauty.
I agree with many of the voters that you wonderfully captured the fog. Terrific mornign light exposture as well. For me, the water fowl add the bit of needed interest to keep it from being a run of the mill scenic landscape.
My eyes keep being drawn to the tree in the middle when I look at your image. Sometimes, I personally find that keeping the main subject(s) slightly off-center, it keeps me a bit more interested.
Overall however, a really terrific shot. One to be proud of. |

eye openerby bulitasComment: Hello. Looks like an interesting subject, but I wish the photo were larger. DPC allows us to submit photos up to 640 pixels max. For me, I get a better sense of a photo when it's larger. Perhaps a bit more focus would also help as it seems a bit blurry overall. |
