Metropolitan Redneckby taterbugComment: Your title mis-lead me a bit. Her black leather jacket, black pants and high heeled shoes don't make me think of a redneck, but that's just me. I wonder how this would look with the brick wall on the right completely cropped out and maybe changed into a black and white instead? |

Modern Deceptionsby BabyHeadsComment: Your photo gives me a nice, warm old time feel - makes me think of my grandfather. Thanks for bringing back a fond memory. Good lighting, composition and the sepia is perfect. Good luck in the challenge. 10 |

Rainy Dayby philupComment: Bumping up after second look. Nice, simple composition and as I interpret the challenge you do have image grain. Had there been a bit more overall contrast, I would have scored it higher. |

Dam Noiseby PrismComment: I like the top half of your photo. For me, I wonder how this would have looked if you cropped out more of the foreground? |

Rebel by gaurawaComment: You've captured a mesmerizing look on this young boy's face. One of those photo-journalist type shots that tells a story. Congratulations and good luck in the challenge. 10 |

Deo Vindiceby jmsetzlerComment: My absolute favorite entry in this challenge. Ofcourse I'm also a Civil War buff - so I'm sure that's part of it. I like the young lad's eyes, and the tight composition. Good luck in the challenge - hope you get a ribbon with this one. 10 |

Historyby A ShrubberyComment: An interesting structure. I wonder how this would look as a completely sepia toned image? Also, it seems to tilt slightly to the left. If rotated a bit clockwise to straigthen the horizon, and changing it to sepia - it would give a greater old world kind of feeling, which I think it has the potential to do. |

Runinng Down the Middleby moviemanComment: You captured a good sense of motion - more so than image grain - in my not so experienced opinion. The whites seem really bright and I find it keeps pulling my eyes to #32 and thereby ignoring the rest of your image. |

Going Homeby bryanbrazilComment: For me personally, I'm discovering that image grain has a greater effect with photos being in black and white or sepia. You do have image grain, and I like the sky colors, but again for me, other entries in this challenge hold my interest more. |

Lurking Insideby dw_photoComment: I'm trying to discern if you're going for wood grain on this, and I just don't know. Anyhow, I like the colors and the off-centered door. My mind keeps thinking there should have been a few fish hanging off a hook on the left side or some other type of outdoor object(s). |
